ParticipantDepends on how recent this issue is. Nowadays the DCU's motto is "Destroy everything fun!"
Heavy on the destroy. Their annual cullings disgust me and they have no solid idea of fairness and justice. Only melodrama. I can see why martial artists like Jet Li and Mark Dacascos don't like doing films with a grim ending. It just destroys your spirit.

Guest…I heard he did some stuff to X-Men during his stint on the comic that wasn't appreciated.
That's hardly justification for suggesting he's incapable of writing and directing a Wonder Woman movie.

ParticipantYou'll find this a strange choice. Lindsay Lohan as WW? I'll wait for you to stop laughing:

ParticipantDon't be surprised if they choose Lohan or some other mainstream actress. They're going to want an actress who can act first before they worry about her looks. They'll get her to train for a while, but she won't be our ideal. Same as with Superman, they got some skinny guy and got him to pump up, but he's still not quite big enough for Superman. Nobody casts these parts right.

ParticipantLet's face it – despite people going on about audiences being "sophisticated" and "intelligent" at the end of the day if you put in some teeny bopper stick insect like Linsey Lohan or whoever the kids like these days, it's probably going to do better at the box office than if you put in some unknown – regardless of how she looks.
Of course, it's the problem all comic books face when being transferred to a medium involving "real" people. There's not much to restrain the pen of an aritst but there are certain laws of physics controlling the practical construction of the female form.

ParticipantYeah, but I have to agree with http://www.thesuperficial.com:
"Wow, Wonder Woman. Yes that will be quite the acting stretch. Unless Wonder Woman has been re-imagined with the power to make her boobs magically disappear and reappear. Because Lindsay's got that move down cold. That and the lasso of anorexia."
That and with freckles, no less. I mean has ANYONE seen the Princess with freckles?

She would be, but I don't think they'll cast her. They never cast women like this for these roles. Heck, they don't cast MBBsfor roles like these. The're going to pick someone mainstream, more than likely some waif who couldn't fit Wondy's bra let alone flex any sort of muscle.

I'm sorry. I wasn't sure what you conveying with that link. Was it the look or the model herself because I didn't see her name.
I think she's got the right build, but I agree with Dragonsblade77. Hollywood would pander to the general audience, and have the actress be slimmer. (Yuck.)
