Changes to Board Structure

    OK, I want to do a major reduction in the number of boards by merging together related topics.  Here is a proposed structure and I'd appreciate feedback:

    Notices and Site-related Discussion

    1. Leader Board – unchanged

    2. Announcements & Updates – unchanged

    3. Feedback – unchanged

    4. TV Alerts and Calendar Events – formerly Events, Meet-ups and Scheduling and TV Alerts

    General Topics

    1. Growth Fetishes – merge all child boards

    2. Other Sites and Web Links – unchanged

    3. Training and Lifting – merge Progress Photos back in

    4. Women's Sports – renamed from Women's Competitive Athletics plus merged childboards

    5. Fandom and Geekdom – merge Television/Movies, Comics/Cartoons/Anime, Technology Q&A, Video Games

    6. Free for All – merge Social Impact

    Fiction

    1. Writing Q&A – unchanged

    2. Growth Stories – merger of Female Muscle Growth, Tall & Giantess Fiction (GTS), Other Growth Fiction

    3. Strength and Muscle Stories – merger of Muscular Domination, Super Strength, Muscular Females

    4. Fan Fiction – unchanged

    Art

    1. Art Q&A – unchanged

    2. Muscular Women Art – unchanged

    3. Superheroine Art – renamed "Superheroines and Other Fan Art"

    4. Giantess, Goddess, Supernatural Art – merger of Giantess & Shrinking Man Art and Other Female Power Art

    Seems fine to me. You probably already thought of this, but after you merge the art and fiction forums, you might include a new rule saying the thread title should mention what particular genre the artwork/story is, to minimize confusion.

    I don't see anything objectionable. Changing the names of sections and merging sections together without limiting the content available is totally fine with me, gots no problems with the streamlinin'. 🙂

    Seems okay, but I only view a few of the boards. Not sure about merging 'growth fetishes' though.

    It sounds like a good idea to me. The only thing that I have reservations about is merging the boards that are specific to certain types of growth. Even with an abbreviation system, I think that it would get too confusing. Whatever you decide is your choice, Lingster, but I would leave the fiction and art sections alone for the moment.

    I'd like a merge, mainly because sometimes I find a really cool link at Amaz0ns and then I want to give the link to a friend, but because there's so many boards it's almost impossible to find the same link again!

    Though I do think some folks might not be too happy with certain growth boards merged, after all you've got the GTS fans and the FMG fans who are their own faction.  But whatever, I'm all for the merging.

    well, for me it's okay: i spent 90% of my time on the forum in art section, and it still unchanged.
    i'm not 100% sure about merge "anime/cartoon/comics" with "moveie/TV" and "videogames"
