Cheerleaders Join NFL For Charity

(AP) New York – The NFL joined with cheerleaders in stadiums across the country yesterday, for an exhibition to raise funds for children's charities.

Striking a pose – At 6'6" tall, Amy Colson presents a formidable challenge as she strikes a pose while members of the San Francisco Forty-Niners attempt to bring her down. After a minute of trying they were unsuccessful, much to the delight of onlooking school children.

Caitlin Hass breaks away from a group of New York Jets in her exhibition game at Giants Stadium. Hass won the game 35-0.

Cheerleaders share a lighthearted moment during their exhibition with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys were easily outmatched as the cheerleaders made up for their lack of size with speed and exceptional strength to take an impressive 86-0 victory before a sold out stadium.

I'm with you, Newshound- I wanna see those stories.  Hell, I wanna see those games!  Nice idea- but then I'm a sucker for super-strong women with hearts-of-gold…

I too am a big fan of this kind of story. Seeing women do feats of strength much larger and heavier than them is my ultimate fantasy, to see a cheerleader dominate a game against not only one, but two teams at the same time, just one girl lining up against 22 players at the same time and still beating their brains in is an absolute awesome fantasy and I hope to see it used in many more stories in the future.
