My interpretation would be that yes, she's still into physical culture, probably for personal fitness, but isn't planning to  pursue any return (at least for the foreseeable future) to contest level competition(s).

So, what she announced before on her blog isn't inconstant with this latest Twitter blurb.

Maybe she'll be bold enough to post here, if only for reasons of clarity.  😉

As I suspected – her problems are almost all psychological.

Hmm she seems to have some sort of crisis. Cry for help in a public forum isn't really a good sign but she seems to be bit lost with her future plans.

There's not much else to do than to wish her all the best. If she decides to continue with her bodybuilding career, I'm sure that the fbb fan base will be more than supportive.

Well after reading the whole thread, Its nice to see shes willing to give it a shot again. We were worried, but hey… at least there were damn good opinions there.

Plenty of good advice and support there.  This also tends to suggest that her hubby is OK with her competing.

Perhaps the more we have going for us, the less we appreciate it?

I think that happens to people who drive themselves too hard to succeed at something, they feel a need to continue to improve and they fear that if they don't find a goal to set, that they've become complacent and are on the downswing.  So they start to pick at everything obsessively.

If she took time away from weightlifting and bodybuilding, it may wind up being therapeutic for her.  Best of luck to her regardless of the circumstances.

It could also be a basic problem with the bodybuilding mantra of "visualize". You can visualize all you want and not be able to reach it because of physical limits or reality.

I would think "push it a little more" or "5 more pounds" would be better.
