Colette at 2007 Arnold Classic

    Has anybody seen pics of this year's Arnold Classic? I was disappointed in Colette Nelson's physique. Her thighs were very slim in comparison to the other women.  :-[

    Old story with her, seems like she's always letting her legs lag behind her upper body development.

    Isn't Colette concerned with her placing if her legs aren't up to par?

    Couldn't really say, not personally knowing her.  At a guess, perhaps she's unconcerned with contest placement, and prefers to focus on fandom interest where there's more monetary return for female bodybuilders.  She certainly never lacks for being photographed by certain photogs and websites – i.e. at WPW she's done six vid/pic sessions with them.

    Can't say I disagree with her.

    Female Bodybuilding is quickly declining into "Figure/Fitness, now with bumps!" as Figure and Fitness both slip into "Ms. America that can do a push up or two. Maybe."

    Whereas the fandom ALWAYS wants huge, so big girls like Colette don't slim down just to actually get more from the judges then "She is too big for this spot based on size."

    I keep reading this prediction everywhere, but I'm confused – Gina Davis and Yaxeni Oriquen (sp?) aren't exactly "Figure/Fitness, now with bumps!", are they?
