    simply i chose the colour and use the brush…

    Heh the funny part is, is that as a colorist I can see that he actually does just use brushes XD. What makes the shading so good is his "lighting sense" of things. If you look closely there aren't any effects lol, except for maybe a little dodge or a little burn.

    Can we not unleash missiles filled with colourers in at Manic's latest work? I'm surprised no one has thrown themselves into the breach with that one.

    yes, usually i don't use effects (sometimes i use lense flair)
    when i finish colorations i use "levels", "contrast" and "hue/saturation" commands untill i find a good result 🙂 ^_^

    PS: unfortunately for tutorial you must wait september, i think :-

    Well um….hmmm.  LOL  Gee I'm drawing a blank now…no pun intended.  Anyway, you're a brilliant colorist perhaps you could do something with one of my works.  Or maybe even an art trade?  🙂
