ParticipantIf I remember corretly, that AD&D swordswoman was actually a dark elf or “drow”. Drow females are supposed to bigger, stronger and smarter than their male counterparts.

Caliber Press “The Realm” had an amazon/muscle swordswoman starting in issue 5
called Letha Kazan. http://calibercomics.com/REALM/characters.htmI remember that series. I bought all of the issues before they discontinued the company. It was just getting very interesting when it stopped. She was big and brawny. Basically it was a bunch of kids sucked into a D&D type world. Sort of like the Guardians of the Flame series by Joel Rosenberg (great read – 10 books so far). One of the females in the group was corrupted into an evil witch type. Of course Letha falls for the nerdy semi-wizard male. 🙂

I’m going to order this and see how it is. It’s based on a Batman/Space Ghost type character who flexes a lot and gets his power from Corn Dogs!
He had a sidekick called HER and she had a VERY small cameo flexing in lethargic lad comics
so I will see.
http://www.lethargiclad.com/store/himtpb.htmLet us know what it’s exactly about, Ashlee! 😀

ParticipantThe AD&D comic was mostly drawn by Jan Duursema (I’m hoping I’m spelling the name correctly). Jan was a fantastic artist who seemed to like to draw the females on the buff side. Jan also drew some of the X-Factor series after Larry Stroman left the book around issue #90 or so of the first volume. Those were the issues were Polaris was drawn muscular and she told Doc Samson that she felt that she was too skinny I believe (or overweight I can’t remember ;x).
