IF YOU THINK THAT'S GOOD JUST IMAGINE HOW GOOD THE NEXT GAME WILL BE ON THE NEXT GEN ps3, xBOX 360 AND nINTENDO REVELOUTION. THE GRAPHIC AND POWER THESE MACHINE RUN ON WILL BE IMMENSE. SO ROLE ON MARCH SO I CAN GET A PS3!
AND PETER DON'T TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE A DREAMCAST THEY WILL ONLY LAUGH AT YOU LIKE I DO TO MY FRIEND PAUL, BUT THEN AGAIN HE STILL HAS THE SEGA SATURN.
November 16, 2005 at 10:24 pm #17966gblock01ParticipantFrom what I've seen, Nintendo's Revolution is going to blow the PS3 out of the water. I know precious littler about the Revolution, but I do know that it lives up to its name.
November 16, 2005 at 10:30 pm #17967Silent OneParticipantI'm not 100% convinced that the radically different Revolution controller is a good idea or not, only time will tell. And as gamers have seen time and again even a top notch console will fall if no one is making games for it, Nintendo hasn't had stellar third party support lately. However if a kick ass FMG game came out for it I'd be forced to purchase one . . .
November 16, 2005 at 10:43 pm #17968gblock01ParticipantOf cousre Nintendo hasn't had great 3rd party support! Sony has been stealing all of the good contracts. At least Nintendo has its own signature games. If it weren't for game series like Mario and The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo would have gone under years ago. I still think that the new controller is a good idea. It forces game designers to think outside the box. Also, at the official unvieling, people tried out the new controller. All reviews that I've seen said that it was easy to use and made 1st person shooters a lot easier to aim.
November 16, 2005 at 11:55 pm #17969Andy_Fraser82ParticipantSorry I was the one who started this and now I hope i am going to bring some clarity. If you have ordered a XBOX 360 for Xmas, then god are you going to be disappointed , Perfect Dark the game that been in development hell for so long is to easy to complete (having played the full game of the hard difficulty I feel I can say that), Bungie's Halo 3 will be the last two with the levels jumbiled up and then the harsh fact that Nintendos Revolution is 2 times faster than 360 and the PS3 is another 2 times fater than that means that the only 2 consoles that will be around when we disscuss the next next gen will be the PS3 and the Revolution as long as Nintendo keep making decent games and start to fight back agianst Microsoft Millions.
Plus Sony and Nintendo don't have to make up a 3 Million defecit like Microsoft do because the x-box was so poor, hence why they are out first but then again that didn't help Sega did it.
November 17, 2005 at 1:20 am #17970gblock01ParticipantThe one thing that we should learn from Sega is to have patience. A good portion of their games were well made, and their console ideas were genius, but they never waited long enough for the technology to mature. The Dreamcast has about the same proccessing speed as a GCN or a PS2, but they technology was underdeveloped, so the end result made it look like it was a match for the N64.

Oh that I needed to hear! Thanks a lot, Buddy! That system was my everything!
November 17, 2005 at 6:55 am #17972Tara_CrossParticipantThe gamecube was just kinda……lacking. Whoever said there original characters like mario zelda metroid are what keeps them afloat is right. Not everyone on earth liked Zelda (i did) or Metroid but everyone has a soft spot in there heart for mario. Youd be lying if you said you didn't. Heck we got one for mario kart and mario sunsine. But when compared to PS2 and XBOX they couldnt hang the nintendo reps said it themselves. They even predict the Revolution won't stack up well against the PS3 and 360 so they are aiming in a "new more revolutionary" direction" i can understand that they no longer want to compete and wish to exist in there own "genre" if you will. Anyway with what they are bringing to the new table they will do more than ok. Anyways go buy that wrestling game!!
Also hope for the future as far as support for female bodybuilders in the future at least in wrestling games since THQ makes all the wrestling games for all systems. On the downside ive discovered that in the game they only let women compete in select matches. However there are those that create codebreaker codes [10 dollars at game stores] that alter the ability of what you can do ie on the last game they created a code for women to be able to compete in season mode. I almost died when my big amazon wrestler had sex with torrie wilson in the showers. Anywho bye!

Precisely why I don't own a Gamecube. If you're not a fan of the Nintendo mainstays there isn't much call to have one. I can think of maybe three games I actually want for the system so maybe when the next gens come out and it gets down to 50 bucks or so . . .
