Could someone perhaps translate this into english? Kind of curious of what is saids.
May 1, 2005 at 2:07 am #3669AnonymousGuestI used to take French way back in high school and dabbled in it a bit in college, so I took my best stab at translating the first page of the article:
In 2003, when we decided to put a term to the adventure FREYA, it became clear in our spirit that the format of an online magazine, though very interesting and credible, was not viable. The time passed and doing interviews that were more or less formatted, having to translate the articles, and having to solicit the interlocutors that weren’t always motivated became too important. And the punctual aid of some collaborators wasn’t sufficient for me to continue the adventure that had started two years previously. FREYA had to close.
I had then left to pass certain months so I could reflect on one new formula that would be more effective and especially that would take less time. Thus the version "Gate" of Freya was born, with more or less regular daily settings (updates?) and an approach to bonds that was a little more profitable than before. It occurs so often that the good things on the Internet conern female bodybuilding, that today it becomes useless to add one’s grain of salt when one is not of the medium. However, the adventure that I had debuted in 1998 could not finish, and the gate was the efficient and advantageous method for resting in the medium without passing as many of my days and my nights working repetitively and sometimes uselessly. Today, with the development of the forum, Freya has become more than a site; it is also a modest (but also very real) community of fans of female muscle. There, every one that comes to cultivate his passion in good mood and with a critical spirit will be able to surprise the exterior element that is in the spirit that all is only praise on a fansite like Freya. Thank you, therefore, to all of those of near or far who enable me today to continue the Freya adventure thanks to the motivation and the investment which they make proof of in our forum
The exceptional number of ‘Freya”s that you have entered between the buttons of your mouse is only one specific test which covers quite a particular subject here that touches female bodybuilding without utilizing the actresses of this marvellous activity, but rather those which like us are fans who have the talent of being able to give substance to their passion. Beyond a simple review of manpower of the best illustrators of female muscle, this is especially (and without any pretention) a humble attempt at the "sociological test" on this phenomenon that delights the many amateurs of female muscle.
Then are these artists insane or geniuses?
Good reading to all."

May 2, 2005 at 8:41 am #3670AnonymousGuestIt’s basically talking about the important artists of the Female Muscle genre. Sorry, but I really don’t have the time to translate all of this, since it’s quite long and ain’t THIS interesting. It’s more of a description of the diferent FMG styles.
May 2, 2005 at 3:09 pm #3671Red_SilverParticipantOkay, was just wondering, that’s all. I don’t know how much is writen on the subject of artist in the muscle community.
May 2, 2005 at 3:58 pm #3672AlexGKeymasterJust a suggestion, but next time you might want to try out the translation tools page on Google – (cut and paste the text or use the web page direct converter) . It’s certainly not perfect, but you’ll get the gist of the article. 8)
