ParticipantI thought I'd better let everybody know that, due to finally getting a postgraduate course at my local university, as from Monday 17th September, I shall once again be a full-time student and will therefore have less time to browse and post herein. I will, of course, still be a regular and loyal member here, but my posts will probably be confined predominantly to evenings and weekends, other than during holiday periods. 🙂

What degree are you doing? I might be able to provide a few pearls of wisdom from my undergrad days. 😉

ParticipantThanks Jack!
Zoology eh, Kulli? Well, I took Biology, and my Masters will be in Health Science, so I'm not too far off.September 8, 2007 at 5:39 pm #59824Lu
ParticipantAye I was going to do biology, but my first choice changed their minds and wanted me to do 'management' and biology. Which wasn't what I wanted. So rather than do half of what I wanted I decided to go with my second choice of zoology 😀

There are so few zoologists around these days, and I imagine even fewer female zoologists, so I am totally behind you in wanting to study zoology, and pleased to find a fellow scientist (though envious that you have such artistic talent whilst have none :'(). Seriously, if you need any advice, either generally to do with Uni or in terms of the biology in your course, don't hesitate to send me a message. Where will you be studying?

ParticipantI'm relatively new to this board but congratulations and good luck. I'm always impressed with people who persure graduate and post grad work. When I walked the little stage for undergrad, I shook a couple of hands, got my degree, and ran. I couldn't run off the stage fast enough, and I haven't been back since.
