Dave Cockrum, who created the look of several X-Men characters including Storm and Nigthcrawler, passed away this past weekend.
Sad news… he was a helluvan artist. And 63?? Too young! too young… :'(
Yeah, Nightcrawler was his personal favorite character. I remember his artwork on the New X-Men circa 1975 or so with issue #94 and Giant Size X-Men #1. His artwork started the X-Men popularity. He had a graphic novel called the Futurians.
He will be missed.
