All potential problems notwithstanding. If they can find an actress that fits the description, I will tune in. There maybe hope for us in the aesthetic department even if the story and direction may not be ideal. Notice that they emphasized muscular,

Yeah,…Bridget Reagan from LEGEND OF THE SEEKER would’ve been a better choice
Oh well,…February 17, 2011 at 4:12 pm #99058ReasonParticipantSo they chose a tall, skinny stick. Oh well, if you’re going to fuck up a project, you may as well go all the way!
February 17, 2011 at 8:26 pm #99064hudaParticipantWhy not Robin Coleman or any one else from the newer American Gladiators?
Even some of the WWE Diva’s are “mainstream” enough to use for a leading role.February 18, 2011 at 1:26 am #99070raylightParticipantThey might ask her to put on some weight. If she can get Hilary Swank-ripped (as in Million Dollar Baby) that’ll be a good, mainstream-y look.
February 18, 2011 at 4:29 am #99080GWHHParticipantMeet the new Wonder Woman!
Adrianne Palicki, who starred in Friday Night Lights, has snagged the title role in Wonder Woman, a new series pilot from David E. Kelley, reports USA TODAY’s Gary Levin.
It’s one of 80 pilots vying for a spot in the fall line-up.
This Wonder Woman pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman — who was played by Lynda Carter in a 1970s version of the show — is not only a crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and modern woman trying to juggle it all.
Please god don’t like this be the plot of the series!

February 18, 2011 at 6:32 am #99085philipParticipantMiost likely she and the producers for the show will be at comicon where they will taken apart when answering questions from fans about the show.
