FlakBaitKeymasterCary Elwes will function in a much more structured role in the NBC pilot, Wonder Woman. He’ll play the devoted friend to Wonder Woman’s alter-ego as well as the acting CEO of her company.
Cary is awesome…..too bad this series is based on such a horrible premise.

ParticipantIn the x numbers of years that I have collected Wonder Woman I never thought I’d hear or see the day Miley Harris and Hannah Montana were compared to WW secret identities. It just sends shivers up and down my spine.
And this twenty something they have playing Diana better start hitting the gym. Now I’m no judge of how comic book women need to look in reat life but seriously THIS GIRL NEEDS SOME MUSCLE!March 11, 2011 at 7:50 am #99494Paul Schilling

ParticipantEh, its not horrible, but not really what I was expecting (would have thought WWs classic costume would have been so iconic that it would be chosen, over the newly revamped one). Her upper half looks much better than her lower half, and overall its a bit too shiny (and her breasts look quite fake here), but in the end its a FIRST SHOT, so there could certainly still be time for changes or alterations to it, let alone how itll look on the actual show.

ParticipantThis cheap looking costume totally fits in with the direction they appear to be going in with this adaptation.
The seem to think that an audience won’t be able to take a powerful female lead seriously so are taking the self-parody route. I’m sure choosing a stick thin actress, who seems to have almost no muscle at all, is part of the joke.
I’ve wanted to see a live-action version of Wonder Woman for a really long time, but I’m really hoping the pilot doesn’t get picked up, as it could do a lot of damage to the Wonder Woman name.
