ParticipantShooting for the new Wonder Woman movie is reported to start this autumn. Good luck to them because so far, I’m not impressed. This movie can once again ruin the future of solo superheroine films. Or it would become a worthy footnote in film history.

It is definitely a step backwards for Hollywood. It has been almost two years since they cast WW. If she hasn’t gotten into shape for the role by now I doubt any progress will be seen before this next autumn.

ParticipantShe supposedly got on shape for BvS, presumably lost that after the shoot, and now maybe, just maybe, she’ll hit the gym again.

Did you watch the same trailer I did?
[spoiler]Yeah, that’s her looking just as thin in the movie as everyone says she is. She’s had going on two years to “get in shape”. Why does everyone still cling to the story that she will “get in shape for the movie”? :pinch:
P.S. Shooting starts in fall for the solo movie. And anyone that still believes she will “get in shape” in the next 2-3 months for that one when she didn’t for this one in a year and a half can buy all my treacle mines for half-off the regular price.

I thought my sarcasm was implied.

ParticipantI’m more resentful towards fans who blindly think she was in athletic shape in BvS. They oviously don’t know squat.

ParticipantThis cosplayer has no muscle but still better than Gal Gadot IMO

http://moviepilot.com/posts/3470130-badass-cosplayer-focus-on-wonder-woman-but-inc-others?lt_source=external,manualThat is an awesome WW!
Gal Gadot is a rather low bar to get over.
Sadly, I went to a comicon recently and there were fewer WW then there was Pikachus (who I previously thought was a male character). I think with this sub-standard casting (or rather strictly standard for Hollywood) has diminished the esteem local cosplayers have for the character.September 6, 2015 at 6:34 am #127384Nick Furry
ParticipantHere a better choice for that movie than the current one!
