I'm looking for a new digitizer and there are a few, along with some things I don't know if it's important, like USB 1.1 or 2.0 and one had something with dpi(I know it stands for Dots Per Inch)5080 , but I don't understand.
So I want to ask artist what a reasonal prices and marks, perhaps the pros and cons.
My old tablet was an old Volito with one button.
I'm guessing that by "digitizer" you mean "drawing tablet" or "graphics tablet"?
If so, then you can't go wrong with a Wacom tablet. Wacom is by far the top maker of tablets, with a wide range of sizes and prices. For $100 or so, you can get a 4" by 5" Graphire4; it also comes in 6" by 8" (those are the sizes of the actual drawing areas on the tablet).
USB is a type of interface with which to connect peripherals (like drawing tablets) to computers. 1.1 and 2.0 merely refer to the version numbers of USB, with USB 2.0 boasting a faster transfer rate.
Hope this helps.
Yeah I would reccomend Wacom also. I have an Intuos and I wouldn't trade if for the world!
Though I would only suggest Wacom if you're looking to spend money, if you just want something that 'will do', then I can't really help there.
*cought cought!…
"mouse"

i'm sorry :-[
I have a Wacom….but right now it doubles as my mouse 🙁
The Intuos is expensive – about twice the price of a Graphire, which I used to have – but once I got to work with it a little, I just had to go out and get one.
Hell yeah. My Intuos was about £130 I think, if not more, but it was a gift.
Sooooo worth it.
