I'm selling the March 2000 issue of Women's Physique World on eBay.
September 29, 2009 at 1:02 pm #87145AlexGKeymasterBeen a while since I last sold any BBing magazines or videos on eBay, but just a few suggestions for your listing.
It might improve your chances of selling this sort of item if you add the key search words to the title or listing:
female bodybuilding
female bodybuilders
An alternative listing category: Magazines, Back Issues.
Price-wise, since you're offering free shipping, the asking price seems fair enough, but because you're offering to ship it via Parcel Post be certain of the total weight of the item plus packaging, which should include cardboard to protect the item.
BTW – If its 13oz or less, you can also ship it as a 1st Class Parcel.

Am I best off selling them one by one on something like e-bay or am I best listing it on Craig's list and seeing if anyone wants to come look. I'm in the NYC area, so not too far away from some collectors.
I have a 32 year old collection I've had since I was a kid and looking to dump most of it. What is my best option. I also have a few books and comics with fbbs that would be heavy to ship. Any feedback would be helpful.

In part it would depend on how good a condition you kept them in. How much people are willing to spend on them, or even at all, due to the state of the economy.
Might be best to run some searches on eBay / Craig's list and watch some of the sales, see how much the sellers are offering them for to get a feel for the going market prices and whether or not the sales sell at all.
As for the magazines, based on my past experiences, unless you have a really outstanding special issue to sell (i.e. FLEX / M&F Presents: Sensuous Muscle: The Women of Bodybuilding), you'll probably do better if you bundle them into sets – maybe by the year – and sell them that way.
Lastly, if you have any MEM mags to sell, they’ll have to go into the Adult Check section on eBay, otherwise they’ll pull them on you.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the tips and appreciate any others. I might be best off on Craig's list to just find a buyer who wants to come and look. My collection beats some smaller L Scott stores I have visited. I have a bunch of stuff from them and most has only been viewed a few times. I might keep some of my very favs which were most viewed.
Thanks again, Alex.I'll give those places a look.
November 7, 2009 at 3:45 am #87149fbbfanParticipantI would be interested in some older WPW mags…what you got?
November 8, 2009 at 9:46 am #87150ant1937ParticipantAlmost all of them plus WSE mags. I'll e-mail you later this week with a complete list. I have them all in a few big boxes now that have lock and key. I'll let you know the shapetoo. Some are great and some are less than great.
November 10, 2009 at 2:06 am #87151ant1937ParticipantI meant the old WSP mags of at was of course….not wse. WSE was the women's strength extravaganza they used to have in New Jersey.

Your gaffe is completely understandable; afterall WSE is synonymous with WPW/WSP. 😉 8)
