    We're getting more Cameronesque/Ripleyesque heroines in horror films.

    Shannon Beckner will be sporting a shotgun against a demonic Hybrid car while trapped in the police motor pool.

    Australian actress, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, will be sporting a chainsaw and shotgun in another movie entitled "Prey".

    I finally watched "Doomsday" last night. The film was off the chain and a clear homage to past flicks. Still, I enjoyed it. I'm glad I saw this instead of flicks like '300'.

    Rhona's character did give off a "Major Kusanagi" vibe, but she was more like a female 'Snake Plisken'. When we see her hanging from the ceiling I thought of Bobbie Phillips in her role in "Chameleon 3".

    It was very cheesy and had a lot of "but how did they get that to work" type things happen. I was theroughly entertained.  😀 As a side note it also had about half the cast from the movie Dogsoldiers in it which is a huge plus. If your a fan of the WhereWolf thing Dogsoldiers is a must  😀

    I remember that one!!  😉 I really liked that film!  🙂

    Is "Spoon" in it, 00tree? Spoon's a wild boy!

    Yeah "Spoon" is in it so is the sarge and the guy who was a "football/soccer" fenatic
    (For the life of me I can't remeber his name) The funny thing spoon and the sarge are both
    scientists in doomsday if I remember correctly.  ;D
