The character is the vampire Riassat who wanted to avenge her lover on the Edge Guard who had banished him, and to this end had used the soul siphon (a magical artifact) to steal the powers and spirits of four kitsune. Riassat of the Inner Circle has emerged from the shadows with all the powers of the kitsune, thanks to the magic artifact, to exact her vampiric revenge. Here, she has taken over Adon, the leader of the Eastern Guard, and is growing exponentialy in power…

I had this issue before and somehow it got chucked but I remember it well.

I wonder how Riassat likes her blood? Vampire marshmallows I hear are a rare delicacy. ;D

Oh yeah, I remember those issues.  Those scenes with the vampire were the reason I purchased those comics in the first place.  8)
