February 15, 2013 at 1:54 am #112633AlexGKeymasterGoing physique could be for any number of reasons.
Maybe she’s had her fill of fun as FBBr
and just wants to get off using the gear, slim down a bit and
have a life beyond the 24/7/365 tunnel-vision existance that pro-level bodybuilding requires.“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”

February 17, 2013 at 6:52 am #112667Trash BoatParticipantQuite many seem to tow down to physique. Is it the health reasons or is physique just more alluring division to compete in?
February 17, 2013 at 7:18 am #112668fasolaParticipantI thinks that going phyisique is the only option the IFBB is leaving them. Each year there are less female bodybuilding shows and more of Physique. They are trying to “slim down” the women so it can be more marketable.
For me it’s all just a load of cr@p, but I feel that the women don’t have much of a choice.

She says her son needs his mother and a healthy mother.
That’s why she has left bodybuilding considering that preparing for Physique shows would be less dangerous for her health.February 17, 2013 at 3:36 pm #112671TC2ParticipantFabiola has a son.

Contrary to popular belief, being a bodybuilder is quite an unhealthy sport. Women generally aren’t designed to be that big, so it’s harder for them to stay huge and muscular.
Not ALL of course, just a majority of them. Ah well, I hope her the best of luck in whatever she pursues.
February 17, 2013 at 10:39 pm #112681AlexGKeymasterAlso, don’t forget the financial costs involved that you have to invest.
Aside from using peds, the dietary supplements expense alone can rack up a boxcar load of money. Unless your Richie Rich or have an Uncle Scrooge sponsor, your monthly budget is going to take a serious hit. Even if you go to Wal-Mart for the very basics, just check out one of the supplement websites for everything else. Tally that in, and even if you’re at the top of your game in contest the arena the monetary return in prize money is negligible.

physique category.I just hope female bodybuilding doesnt die out altogether.
I don’t THINK it will, because demand for fbbs is pretty high, considering the huge
number of websites and all the internet interest you see at these sites. There are
a lot of fans out there, they very loyal, and they will shell out money to see their
favorite female heroes flex. The supply side is where you have the problem. An unhealthy sport, an expensive sport,
fewer young women taking an interest in the sport (look at the MS O the past couple years,
average age of the competitors was around 40).I suspect in the future fbbs will be reduced to “hobbyists”, pioneering type spirits (like
Tina Lockwood, Christine Envall, Tina Zampa) who are interested is seeing how far they can
push their own physiques. We may still have video shoots, but contests may be few and far between,
if not extinct altogether.February 18, 2013 at 2:55 am #112685khuddleParticipantFabiola has a son.

different. -
