Book: Love Child by Andrew Niederman

I mentioned this on my DA profile but in terms of books while also fitting in the superhero genre.

A Bitter Winter has a female protagonist who stares in the mirror and thinks her new, muscular body is sexy AF. Also contains some light muscle growth scenes. Not as descriptive as an FMG novel but fairly close.
