I met Clifford D. Simak and he autographed a 4th edition ACE paperback copy of CITY for me.

    Just a suggestion,
but you might want to try out the story by Hi-Standard that I re-posted in the MMG / FMG Fiction Stories thread. B)

His stuff always read more like mainstream SF/Fantasy than what you normally come across in the online growth genre.

BTW – you once mentioned in passing that you’re on DA – but what’s the url to your page? Thanx!

    Hey Alex,

I can’t find the link to Hi-Standard. Can you provide here? Thanks. My wife’s DA link is here: https://www.deviantart.com/jgmuscle12

Actually, that was addressed to stevexyz, but no problem. B)

I ck’d the DA page you supplied, interesting to learn that your wife / co-author is also into lifting weights.

So am I. I find that my real world experience in BBing gives me better insight into crafting the descriptive aspects for a fictional muscular transformation process.

I may read it, and thanks very much for the suggestion, but I tend to not read other people’s stories for fear I will copy their ideas into my own stories. This may not be a big deal to them, but I do not want to step on anyone’s toes. Also, I keep saying to myself, “Now why didn’t I think of that!!!”

I’m much the same, mostly sticking to non-fiction materials these days.

And being influenced can happen to anyone – even Hi-Standard. I noticed some in The Inheritors from a few of my own stories – but then he once admitted that I had inspired him to write M / F growth stories, which prior to that his primary focus was on GTS stories.

I may be mistaken (and that would be a first, ha, ha) but I’m fairly certain some of my ideas have been used for illustrated comics here and there. Heck, I’ve even purchased some of them. In those cases though, I like it because it’s nice to see my ideas come to life, so to speak, even when unaccredited.

    Alex,

Thanks for posting. I will give it a read when I’m done editing my 2nd book. Good description in the opening passage though – it looked well written. Steve, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” Don’t fear getting some idea kernels from others

FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY, a movie about male and female wrestling starring Duane Jonhson, is coming out. But after seeing the trailer, I will not be going to see it, despite the hints of some muscular women being in it.
