I'm enjoying this thread immensely (pun intended!).  I've always loved your work, Fett.  Though you strike me as more of a Terry Dodson fan than Adam Hughes. 🙂

Thanks, Tonus but… really? Why's that? Dodson doesn't really rate for me.

Just the appearance of the art, the faces particularly.  There are a number that show the influence of Hughes, but more of them remind me of Dodson.  The faces do, anyway.  Dodson's faces tend to be more polished than those drawn by Hughes.  Then again, I always assumed that Dodson was a Hughes fan as well.  So maybe there's a common trait amongst talented artists who admire Adam Hughes. 😉

    That's pretty much it.

But… no way is Dodson more polished than Hughes! 😛

1000 apologies, sir.  I must remember that the whole world doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving. 🙂

The Tetsuko drawing is wonderful, that's a great expression on her face.

I agree that he isn't more polished.  But the way he draws faces is… perhaps polished is not the right word.  Maybe more "finished" is what I was looking for.  Because Hughes does facial expressions so well, his faces are more spontaneous and sometimes pretty rough.

I really wish he did more regular comic work, the covers and pin-ups he does don't allow him to show the full range of his abilities, particularly in drawing backgrounds and scene settings.  There isn't anything he cannot draw, and draw spectacularly well.

Hughes is doing All-Star Wonder Woman! That should be great! 😀
