Photoshop Mess around and get photo collage the way one wants. Turn it to greyscale or make sure the color picker is on black and white
apply Filters->Stylize->Stamp
Save a copy as a jpeg then bring over to Illustrator.
Click on the jpeg and use Live Trace. Fool around with the tolerances then hit Expand.
Use the magic wand to select all the white in the image bring it to another layer and whittle away at the surrounding white only leaving that which is in the image.
Group all the white and bring it back to the lineart layer.
Get rid of all the little bits of distortion that appear on this step too.
Took about 2 hours.
Looks interesting. Must have spent a good deal of time tweaking this image.
That's pretty cool, prober of cows.
