I'm working on two new pieces for a site update sometime this week (tomorrow, I hope): two more panels of page 13 of Tetsuko #2… and this new pic, which I think turned out well. So I'm letting the readers of this forum get the first look at… what Tetsuko likes to do in bed:

This was inspired by a drawing I'd seen on a Japanese artist's website sometime within the last month, but I'll be danged if I can remember whose work it was, or which site it's on. (I think it was from a site linked to from one of elee's "Link-a-Day" posts; although I don't think he linked directly to the pic, I think I went exploring more on the site and found the drawing that way, and thought, "That would make a cool situation for Tetsuko." But I didn't save the drawing, and went only with the basic idea of a girl eating Pocky in bed with crumbs falling in her cleavage.)

(In fact, if you've seen that drawing as well, and know where it is, could you drop a link in a response here? I'd like to see it again myself, and give better credit for the inspiration for my drawing.)

And the stuff she is eating, mr nam, is pocky. a japanese baked product rather like long thin biscuits. in fact, exactly like long thin biscuits. because thats what they are. usually flavoured or dipped in something.

Yeah, they've got Pocky in China, too.  There's chocolate, milk, coffee, almond, strawberry… all sorts of flavors.  You'll probably find a box in any decent anime fanboy shop or import grocery store stateside.

Very nice bit of artwork, DCM, as always.  You'd think her walls would look a bit better decorated, though…

Made me think of a little story on the spot:

Just before I got two blocks down the street, I realized I'd left my notebook behind.  Definitely not wanting to start my little story from scratch again, I doubled back to Tetsuko's apartment, where'd I'd been tutoring her with her creative writing class. 

Before I knocked on the door, I realized it was ajar just by a hair.  I pushed it open, and spotted my book on the coffee table.  Bingo.  I strode over to pick it up.

"Mmmm…"

I glanced over.  That came from Tet-chan's bedroom.

"Mmmmmm…"

I knew it probably wasn't any of my business.  But I felt myself pulled over there all the same like a meteorite into a planet.

"Oh, so small, but so great in my mouth…"

That was my cue to get out of here.  I crept up closer anyway.

"Oh, it's just like the first time, been way too long!

I was at the door frame.  It was silent except for her voice.

"Gotta take it slow, gotta make this last…"

Before I realized it I'd had a hand on the door… which was also ajar by a hair.  Too late, I'd pushed it open, too.

Dressed in women's briefs and a stretched muscle-T cut-off draping off her bust like an awning, she looked up at me. 

Her companion was a small box of chocolate coated biscuit sticks.

All I could think of saying was, "Got any more?"

You just can't get the jokes out of your system, huh, Mr. Dimples? A nice short story, though. What were you trying to hint at through the whole thing?  🙄

Mr. Matthews, this picture is AWESOME!!!!
I think that this ranks as one of my favorite drawings that you have done. The only one that I can think of right now that can compete with this for "the best" was the picture of her entire body after she's done growing in the first comic.

Yes … good point. I don't think it's too bad, but maybe something can be done to prevent this?
