OK, firstly, apologies for the poor title – nothing better suggested itself, I’m afraid. Anyway, it’s kind of a tribute to my first experience at Frankie and Benny’s. It’s a small growth scene and I hope you enjoy it.

    Fonk,

This is a great story. Thank you for taking the time to share this.

I like how it links into the larger scheme of things among your other tales.

Being saturated in USA with the type of cuisine that Frankie & Bennie’s serves it’s interesting finding out about such a fancy presentation for ‘regular meals’ exists in the UK.

Best of luck with any further creative output fellow. B)

Huzzah! Glad to see a new story from you Fonk! I enjoyed it immensely 🙂

Also good to see Sam back 😀

I’m guessing Miss Morris isn’t going to continue?

Cowprobe: thank you! It was a last minute decision to make this a Sam story – I’d just been inspired by having an attractive waitress. Sam was always basically an excuse to write growth scenes!

Jonno: thanks, that’s very kind. I really enjoyed writing this one.

yaracyrrah80: thanks a lot! I was worried I’d gone a bit weird with some of the words I used, but that kind of feedback is what a writer craves.

blah8884: thank you, sir! When I first started writing I resolved never to leave a story unfinished… however, Miss Morris is a pretty demanding character! I wrote F&B in a night, whereas I will have to dedicate weeks to the next chapter of MM. Also, weirdly, I’m much more keen to write the final chapter than the next one.

That’s not to say that it’s not coming. Or, to put it a less confusing way, it’s coming. It just might be A While.
