As celebration of me finally getting my website done, I finished off the first image for my own FMG 100 entry.

029. Too Much
. It takes from the bankai (final release) of Ichigo Kurosaki's zanpakuto (soul slayer). This idea is a complete 'what if?' situation (I don't know if I'd ever use it storywise) where Briana goes a level above her avatar form. When in this state all her massive physique is compressed into a more agile form. And all her strength is siphoned into her guan dao which also takes the form of a much more agile pudao. The 'too much' comes from all this raw power being compressed into a small blade is easily overkill when hit comes to blow.

Nice job with the sense of compression- she looks lean and long limbed while still being very powerful (her arms are still as big around as her torso!)  But I feel like I still need a degree in manga to understand your explanation!  😛
Oh also, way to start the FMG100!  Now the rest of us are slacking by default!

However, if I had one, single complaint, its her breast seperation.  From what I understand, that is a "bad" operation and not natural.  Her hips are narrow, but believeable.  I've seen it. 

This is only a personal nitpick, and by no means is a commentary.

I suppose my explanation was a bit vague concerning what all the stuff dealing with Bleach. A zanpakuto is basically a physical manifestation of a sentient spirit in the form of a sword. A zanpakuto has three forms, its sealed form, an initial release form or shikai, and a final release or bankai.

Ichigo Kurosaki, the main character of Bleach, has a massive ammount of spiritual energy. His bankai is a compression of all this power, giving him a much greater degree of speed and strength.

Briana's "bankai" functions in a similar manner, where all her strength is compressed and focused into the blade of her Guan Dao. The way I like to think of it is like using a magnifying glass to focus the light of the sun into a ray that burns much hotter.

Hope that sheds a little light on the mystery.  😉

I wanted to give a shot at Frank Miller's very hard shading style from his Sin City books. With all that said, if you still fail to see where the 'black' prompt relates to this image, I fear for your well being.  😛
