ParticipantI am loving this story.
I like the way the Eugenians have decided to deal with our dangerous and warlike species before we become a threat to the entire galaxy- it's a theme that's been explored before, occasionally, but it never gets old when it's treated with such respect.
I also like the way the humans don't all just turn into slavering war-crazy monsters, nor do they roll over and lap at the Eugenians' collective feet. There's a real sense that they are real people trying hard to deal with an untenable situation.
A fine read. 🙂

ParticipantGlad you like, guys. And yes, stmercy2020, I had based a good bit of this off folks I already know, and my own life experience, so that's why it seems a bit realistic. Someone once said a person that properly lives life has enough story to make five characters. There's so much inspiration even in the everyday world around us.
Glad I made it believable. Thanks.
Oh, and 00tree, by "look forward," did you mean you simply wanted more writing, or to hurry on ahead a few days in the timeline?

ParticipantConventional war.
Yowza, whose to say the former greater powers wont' roll out whatever they had cooking at their respective Area 51's for this sort fo event.
Then again Black Budget beyond Top Secret death rays proubably fall under the Eugenian's NBC glass block containment plan.
Though it would be weird to have some Project Paperclip antigravity high altitude vehicle be knocked out of the sky by mistake from all the hysteria.
Good stuff Jimmy D, you keep writing and I'll keep reading.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. What I ment was is the story going to continue or is it a project that was dropped?

ParticipantOf course it'll go on! ;D My stories will. I just have more than one iron in the fire, if you know what I mean.
