I generally wouldn't think of visiting Bodybuilding.com, mainly because it's actually about bodybuilding; nevertheless I've ventured into the forums on occasions.

It's what I tend to find that has spurred me to seek opinion, nay, explanation this evening.
In the women's gallery there are basically 2 types of people, The Posters and the Idiots.

Now the posters spend their time gathering random photo's and uploading them with no information about it whatsoever. An example of which is this photo of Heather Lee 
which goes under the title "Kinda cute" posted by logan1. (It would have been funnier as Logans1)

The fact this is happening infuriates the crap out of me and simultaneously amazes me these people know how to work the mouse! Can this really be put down to sheltered web experience?

Anyway, I feel like I'm taking a risk posting this for some reason, but I really had to get it off my chest … which could be the new meds, but that's another story.

Above is the reason I's abandoned most work out anc community forums.

Most people do not believe that we have such a Shangri-La on this Forum and I's for one intend to keep it as such.

I concur, as always, with the distinguish NeonBlack. I can count on one hand the number of online fora that have not degenerated into name-calling, "discussions" of steroid abuse, and the like.
It is a rare exception to find on Lingster's forum, and I am very grateful for his work in keeping it so.

I'll drink to that; I'll sometimes find Lingster's political views over on his blog a little disagreeable, and he has every right to air them, but this would not stop me from visiting. The work he has done is obvious. Here's applauding ya Mighty Lingster.

I's am continually amazed and disgusted at how, on other Forums, Bullentin Boards and chatroom that have a focus on female bodybuilders, how quickly the discusion can degenerate into a "she's on steriods/no she's not" argument.
And this is from creatures whom claim a devotion to female bodybuilders!
It is enough to drive on to distraction.
Oh, well.
It matters not.

Since the posters here are of a higher ethic and can carry on a discusion -including that of the taboo steriods- in an actual intelligent manner that does not break down into a meaningless flame war.

And that I's thank all the posters and members here.

Another example of why this Forum is so good compared to others.

Today I's did witness my's dear friend, Shadow, be banned from a music/band forum for making comments relating to all the stress he is currently going through in relation to a show that he is booking for the band for whom the forum is for (a minor Australian metal band who's name is not worth mentioning) and they (the band's lead singer) took umbridge to his comments and then banned him (Shadow) for unrelated comments on his own Live Journal before proceeding to call him in person and shower him in abuse.

The third is a basic impossiblity here but the banning for comments outside of the forum is a thing that I's cannot see happen in a place such as this.
Unless of course those comments were so appauling and offensive.

Maybe I's should direct Shadow to this place. For his is already known but at least a few here and needs another place to be within the Cyber Space Realms where he is comfortable and welcome.
