This looks…passable.
The effects on his suit look really off, the green on his mask is like… really really bright. I can’t say I quite understand why they went an entirely CG route for his costume. Definitely iffy on this one.
Not being a Green Lantern fan to begin with I’m not terribly interested in this movie and a bunch of mediocre CGI thrown onto a screen does little to stoke any. Compared to what was done with Transformers and Iron Man the effects seem sub-par.

Signs that a film with a Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza potential will probably have a Tijuana bottle rocket outcome.
IM STILL GONNA WATCH IT. 8D
I’m not terribly impressed. It looks competely cheesewiz. But hey – at least it’s not overbearing like other DC films. This might draw in the kids, and we must think of the kids.
don’t care. my daughter and i will still see it as well as all the other comic movies coming out in 2011 and 2012.
I thought it didnt look half bad actually, given my expectations. But like most of you I’ll be giving this one a pass, and waiting for DC/Bruce Timm’s next animated feature instead.
I have mixed feelings about this movie. When they announced it, I really wanted to see it. However, as time went by, I began to have second thoughts. When the concept art came out, I really didn’t like the costume, but I sais “let’s give it a shot when I see it in motion on the screen. Now, the suit looks awful, at least for me.
I guess I might end up seeing it.
On a side note, I waht to analyse the trailer itself. When they announced the first itron man movie and the cast, I thught it would sink. When I saw the first trailer, I was surprised, to say the least, and it made me want to see the movie right there.
Now, with GL, it was the other way around, when it was announced, I really wanted to go see it. As time went by, I lost interest, but was expecting the trailer. Now that I saw this trailer, I feel like it will be another Warner/DC franchise burning failure, as a comic to movie adaptation. Wich doesn’t mean that might do nice at the box office.

So will I just because a friend of our family shot some flying scenes for the movie in his L-39 Albatross and T-6, but I have no idea how much of it made it into the final film cut. He got paid a sh*tload of money though so it doesn’t matter :p
