So I'm browsing the forums and I see this new icon in the left-hand menu: Growth Comics. So I click the link and find this brand new website, born on July 18 and specializing in female growth.
How fortuitous is that considering that a few of us recently had a little chat about the unfortunate lack of sequences and FMG artwork.
Lingster, is this your fault? Because you know how much this thing is going to cost me right? 😀
Edit: Oh yah, link.
Ha, thanks for pointing that out to me. My mental ad filter is so effective, I would never have noticed that on my own. 😀 Kudos to Lingster for taking the initiative on this and kicking it off with some of his own content! It doesn't seem to be a paysite either; so much the better!
Disappointingly though, it's not solely FMG-oriented. But at least FMG is given equal billing in the official charter, next to giantess (so-so IMO) and BE (thumbs up!).

Trilliwig, are you some long lost brother or something? :- 😀
Anyway, I'm curious to see what Lingster will come up with. I like his stuff and love his animations, but I'm wondering if it's going to be a BE Story Club or an Expansion Comics for muscles, or something else entirely.
I don't know what Growth Comics is going to be. I won't rule out ever launching a paysite there, but for right now let's see how the sponsorships do.
I'm working on two multi-page comics right now to add to the site. One is BE, the other is a combination of BE, height and FMG. For right now I'm using Thickbox to display them, which is javascript, but I may switch to one of the flash viewers down the road.
The important thing about these comics – and I encourage anyone planning on doing webcomics to keep this in mind – is that they will be landscape aspect. That means wider than tall, just like the computer screens most people will use to view them. There is no point to doing webcomics in traditional comic book format. I expect the comic publishers to begin putting the staples on the short end of the books within a few years in recognition of this reality.
