Fett's the only honest guy here. I don't work out at a gym, but if I did damn straight I'd be ogling the women. They can kick me out for all I care — I've been kicked out of places before: a bar, a night club, a strip club, the public library.
September 2, 2009 at 1:29 am #86441LingsterKeymasterYeah, I even pick what supermarket I go to based on which has the cutest female customers. I don't stare, but I do appreciate.
September 2, 2009 at 1:34 am #86442ant1937ParticipantYou guys are in the wrong gyms. Loads of hot girls where I go, though not as manytop fbbs as there used to be. More fitness types or just hot young girls now too. Not many fat or older people period. I guess I should stop whining that it used to be better.
No hardcore fbbs recently. >:(I do go for the workout too, but the looking is a real good side attraction. On a good day, it is better than the workout. 😛

No hardcore fbbs recently. >:(Following up on what Fett had to say, do you really think it's just a matter of being in the wrong gym(s) or that in the current era as apposed to the past decade or two, there's a lack of positive pop culture/mags/media coverage (non-internet based) that might expose-to/inspire/draw-in women to the sport/lifestyle?
In the past you had (to name a few) Cory Everson, Rachel McLish, Kiana Tom (on TV and/or in movies) or even the buffed up for T2 Linda Hamilton (which, at the time caused a major spike in women getting into lifting) in the early '90s.

Kinda like Highlander.
Except without the kick-ass soundtrack.
September 3, 2009 at 8:07 am #86446CDRParticipantNo soundtrack but you keep the decapitations on static electricity?
Yikes!September 4, 2009 at 11:02 am #86447ant1937ParticipantBoth Alex. It definitely is not what it was in terms of volume. Gilr fbbs used to be all over the place. However, it isn't impossible to find some talent at all. Not as much muscle. The roid era is over as far as regular girls experimenting it seems to me.

Also, these days, the tightening of the economy probably is a factor, too. Why spend $$$ on a yearly gym membership when you can invest it into home gym equipment. Plus the time and money you save, you have the privacy to focus on workingout w/o drawing unwanted attention, if that's an issue.
FBBrs, especially of the dedicated contest kind, were always rare commodity to begin with even in the best of times. More often as not you would encounter the lifestyle types, especially if strength and size is an asset in their profession (i.e. law enforcement).

one day, i ll ask her for a date… hey, i'm serious! ok, maybe not tomorrow, but one day… -
