This is a scene I directed from a psychological thriller a few years ago that really got me interested in the visuals of the beauty and awe of female bodybuilding.
The scene is very deep as I tried to capture the underlying magnificence of the power of a woman. I LOVED directing this, and hope you guys like it. I know a lot of you have been anticipating something from me, so I’ve finally decided to share this…
Peace and Love,
~Mimi
Well god damn Mimi. I’m thoroughly impressed. *bows* Very well done.
I liked the background, costuming, and lighting but it was much too slow pacing wise. If the whole point of the movie was to show a woman working out and her strength, well then the job was definitely accomplished. But it read as psychological thriller and if this scene was part of a whole movie it would have taken much too long.
The sweat drops on the body were well done and the overall physique was lovely, but at the same time it seemed to not have much of a point other than check out the physique. Similar to when videographers do bicep pump videos where the BB just repeats the motion over and over again. I love female muscle but just watching a bicep pump is incredibly boring.
Overall this scene looked way better than most of the indie stuff I’ve seen, but it’s hard not to get impatient while watching it.
Well BlackKusanagi, its not for everyone. Thanks for watching it though. I’ve intentionally held it back for a while now, but recently decided to share it…
Its not the “actual” scene from the film as I intentionally edited it MY way instead of what’s in the final film… the filmmaker sent me the raw footage and what you see is what I made. My reasoning behind the long slow shots of her flexing was to not only elicit arousal, but make one think too.
Thanks Collector…
XOXO’s

Aha! Well then that makes sense! Now I get it.
Thank you for sharing your work with us, Mimi! B)

That’s the great thing about video is that some like it, and some don’t… its not for everyone, but then again, some will find it very nice.
Thanks,
~Mimi
very nice!
i play it with Meko’s narration and the Conan theme in the back ground.
