I have a seemingly random question…but hopefully not offensive…

Is it possible for a blind person to develop a BB-type build in real life?  Or is it only possible in fiction/fantasy?

Why would it not be possible?

Why would it not be possible?

I thought that sight was needed to learn the proper motions and pressure needed for the exercise and weight lifts, such as bench press, squats, etc.

No, I think the problem would be in finding the weights. Body coordination is a different sense to vision. The only reason a blind person would trip or fall over, would be due to not seeing something in their way such as a step or kerb or shoelace or what have you, and not due to a lack of motor skills.

In so far as I know. So it would be possible, I would think.

    Look at Daredevil.

Granted he's fictional, but, y'know. Stevie Wonder didn't fight crime, and I can't think of any more blind people at 1am. The three blind mice don't count. And Nick Fury has one good eye.

The question is, absent a sense of physical appearance, would a blind person have any driving motivation to develop his or her body?  I think it's entirely possible that many would, but the percentage as a whole would be less.
