    You are forgiven, my son.

Ok, the smiley with the pope hat is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.  Thanks for the laugh.  The story (in the orginal ASCII format) will be on its way to you this weekend, I won't be able to get to my home PC until then.  And since there seems to be some further interest in my ancient works I'll repost it on the board as well.  Since I'll be breaking into the archive of silence once again is there anything else of mine you don't have but would like?

Thought you might be amused by it.  – any others will be most appreciated.  ;D  8)

That's the thing, all this has been posted before, albiet 6+ years ago.  😛

Alex, if that's all you have then you must be missing the Goth's night out story (one of my personal faves) the Flower of Youth and the 6 prelude stories that bridged the gap between the original Necklace and the Necklace 2 (which still sadly remains unfinished to this day though I do have a few chapters completed and I think some of them actually got posted on ZZZs old board.)  I'll bundle the lot of them together for you and email them.  When you see the original ASCII files you'll see why I haven't polished them and reposted them, the effort involved is daunting due to formatting/incompatibility issues from my venerable old word processor and my current PC.  Since you are one of the mighty moderators which part of Amaz0ns would be best suited for my offerings if and when I ever do repost them?

Since Lingster compressed most of the fiction forums into three main areas, I'd say your materials would fit under the Growth Stories forum, which is where I placed mine.

You know what, I scoured the remains of my archives (backed up now on CD) and I can find no trace of the mega/daydream story.  I could have sworn I had all of my stories backed up in form or another, either in the orginal ASCII, bastardized html, ancient MS Word, or even a cut and paste copy text file.  No trace.  I apologize for getting your hopes up though now that I really think about it I think we had almost this exact conversation a number of years ago.  It would probably be too much to hope that someone from ZZZs old boards saved a copy of it somewhere.

    Damn damn damn . . .

Probably not, unfortunately.  One of his forums (GTS) is hopelessly corrupted, hacked into, the other (EG), was purged except for a few recent posts.
