I was there when AlexG posted his Don Don Quixote story for the first time.  (Still one of my personal favorite ever posted on the ZZZ Everything Grows board.)
I was there and helped support the formation of said Everything Grows board.  (I loved the idea of having a place to post stories that included male growth.  Only having one sex grow became a constraint to some of the stories I wanted to write.)

Ah, yes – Sir Alonso Quixote, the Immortal Man of La Mancha!  😎

". . . they call me Don Quixote, a Knight of the Most Noble Order That Has No Name."

I had a lot of fun with that one, blending the format of a Clifford D Simak mythos-fantasy, the ideals of "The Man of La Mancha" along with an overlay of Clint Eastwood references.  Seems to have been a favorite with a number of people as a non-violent / mildly violent prone Gentle Giantess story.

(Disclaimer: No actual Giants or Giantesses were harmed in the making of this story – but a few empty buildings weren't as so lucky.)

And as they say – He Still Rides!

“I like a good story well told. That is the reason I am sometimes forced to tell them myself.”
    ~ Mark Twain / Samuel Clemens (1907)

I remember when Shadowlurker and the Geocities FMG site were updated last.  Also when the groups were clubs.

Yep, I remember when Yahoo!Groups were Clubs.

I also remember when the Diana the Valkyrie Amazon growth stories page was updated last.

I came to FMG and GTS by way of BE.

I am now affecting my best grizzled, old-guy voice and screwed-up look of concentration —

I was one of the first ten members and one of the first five contributors to the BEArchive.  This was way back before Taylor Seldan changed it from a FREE site to a pay site!  He founded the BEA because the master of the premier BE group at the time was ill and had decided to close his (I can't recall the name of it).
I can remember when the library at Diana The Valkyrie's had only two "Miscellaneous" story shelves.
I can remember when Al began writing his "St. Cats" BE stories and then founded his "Research & Development" webzine.
I can remember when Cancuz started posting sketches.
I can remember the days when one felt obligated to explain what "GTS", "BE", and "FMG" meant in one's posts.
I can remember when most web surfers had dial-up and no one had a hard drive of more than 100Mb.
I can remember when Ed Lund sarted EL Publications.
I can remember when Bust Artist, ZZZ, Bandit, Coyote, and the members of Uncle Sleazy's group … were all actively posting – for free!
I can remember that David C. Matthews PRE-dated The Dave Matthews Band.

    Most amusing, dear David.
If you cannot paraody yourself, you have no right to even laugh.
    Thank you.

Take your time — Tetsuko is obviously a labor of love for you.

And a labor of love for us to view it.  😀
