Ikura-maru ( ???? )

Ikura-maru ( ???? ) is an artist in Japan who specializes in monster artwork.  There's some pretty good muscle girl art sprinkled in his work, so it's worth browsing through his page.  He also has a PIXIV page ( PIXIV ID 111606 ) which has some of the same artwork, but also some additional pieces.  If you're not familiar with PIXIV you can find more about it from my previous journal entries ( PIXIV Part 1 and PIXIV Part 2 ).  His nickname "ikura" may come from the Japanese word for Salmon Roe, but I could be mistaken.  I'm pretty sure I've seen his artwork on the Internet elsewhere, but I can't recall where at the moment.  He's got a style similar to Karinto, so perhaps I'm getting them confused. Warning: the muscle artwork is generally worksafe, but some of his other monster artwork is NSFW.

I think so too. The style is way too similar even though the art itself is of a different variety. Still, LOVE IT!

Uh yeah, that doesn't work (or I don't know how to make it work, since I can't read the page, which makes it super-hard to register for my own account anyway). Any chance of you (or someone else) re-hosting the relevant images on some image-hosting site? It should take all of a few minutes.

Update (since I apparently can't edit my own post), I successfully registered on PIXIV, but changing my "R-18" settings in my profile so I can see all pictures isn't working right. I did what you said in your blog "Look for the row that says R-18, and toggle the radio button to the other option. This will un-hide a R-18G ( Grotesque ) option which you can also toggle if you choose. Hit the button on the bottom of the page to save your settings." and I get this:

…which makes no sense, seeing as how I was logged in with the Email address I used to register.  ???

You should be able to go to http://www.pixiv.net and login first with devart or amaz0ns as the name or password.  Then come back and click on those links that I had and it will work fine. 

I deliberately don't re-host the PIXIV images to try to respect PIXIV's terms of service.
