This forum needs some spotlight on comic books that aren’t Marvel or DC

GLORY: By Joe Keatinge and Ross Campbell

Glory is a badass warrior, born from aliens and raised to be a living weapon, she wages her own war across the universe and nothing will stand in her way.

Ross Campbell’s art is fantastic and I recommend checking his dA page out and looking at his Mountain Girl series as well, very cool stuff!

UltraVixen: By Jed Dougherty, Marcelo Bravo, Rick Porven, and James Whynot (link of names on dA and such)

Sadly I don’t know too much about the character other than that she is one hell of a labor of love. The creators have been trying to get this comic out for a while and they’re hoping that by July they’ll have the first issue out. I wish them all the luck, the character looks fantastic and with Jebrido doing the art I’ve got high hopes for some cheesy goodness in it as well 😀

April’s Le Tout Bourlesque: By Chris J Cole

Grabbed this comic about a year ago, don’t regret it! Every page is full color and even though April is not exactly a muscle girl, she looks great and is rendered very athletically. The whole thing is just one silly, corny gag after another. No plot, no seriousness just one really beautiful woman being ridiculous and occasionally taking a pie to the face. Was very fun to read :cheer:

Artist has been missing for a year, however, so I’m worried he won’t be making anymore 🙁

Any other comics you folks would suggest?

One that I can think of off-hand would be She-Dragon.

Another would be Hardbody (tho, I don’t think much has been done w/ her)

And then there’s Dawn, but I’ve never really been much of a fan of the character.

Had to go look up those characters and I gotta say, I really like She-Dragon :cheer:, read up a little about her and she sounds like an interesting character, even more interesting was she was supposed to be a parody of She-Hulk. Gotta look into that 😀
