Isa is huge. Lol. 😀
November 28, 2007 at 7:05 am #63915DavidParticipantLet's zoom in some…
November 28, 2007 at 8:01 am #63916TC2ParticipantI don't know, back in the day when Isabelle was thinner and smaller she had some really killer and attractive pictures that made her sexy. But as the years passed by she started hulking up (not that that's a bad thing) but in my eyes started getting a little bit unattractive. The face to me is just a big turn off and once I lost interest in her face the whole body kind of went with it. She's enormous sure but, ah I don't know, that sex appeal isn't really there for me.

Not my favorite but definitely a woman of note.

Now that's wierd, because that's normally what I say, (I was hounded-off Unreal for saying much the same about certain athletes with whom the others followed the "Emperor's New Clothes" syndrome, and I was like the little boy who says about the Emperor "But he's stark naked!") but, so far, that feeling for me has been restricted to her contest appearance. I hope it never happens for me when she's in offseason shape actually, because it would be a sad day.

I don't see where her face looks any different (no offense to Masschine, but perhaps it was better photography at hand), but you sure know how to make not finding her as attractive as you once did sound clinical and antiseptic. 😛

Perhaps his writing style was a touch cold, but I see his point. As I stated yesterday, I still find Isabelle attractive in offseason condition, but I can see what he is referring to. I have personally had the same thing happen with another young athlete who I thought was cute…until I saw a video interview of her which revealed her voice to be VERY deep, not "for a woman" but deep full stop. I'm afraid to say, whilst I still greatly admire her achievement, I don't find her attractive as I used to.
All of us have a personal threshold beyond which we cease to find these women of power less attractive; for some of us, that threshold is very generous and almost never breached, for others, it's much tighter and restricts us to finding only a small handfull of athletes seriously attractive. Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle. My problem is that i'm a hypocrite because there are some women (such as Melody Spetko) who I still find mysteriously sexy even though they have crossed the rubicon, yet others who have not yet done so leave me cold. Of course, my dream is that we will be able to use transcription factors to help women increase muscle mass without increasing levels of testosterone-mimicking hormones in the bloodstream; until then, I really want to see both male and especially female BBers penalised for showing obvious signs of heavy steroid use (you won't convince me that experienced FBB judges can't tell a heavy roid user when she's on stage).
