Not that I mind steroid use, I mind steroid ABUSE…
Amen to that.
December 23, 2007 at 4:54 pm #63934cpbell0033944ParticipantMy views…? I think you mean my vision. (I didn't say anything–as usual–except to ask for a little more passion when discussin' a lady.)
No, I was referring to your initial expression of being unable to dig Isabelle any more. I was concerned that you might feel that I was saying "she hasn't changed; Grandmaster's seeing things" or something like that, when I most definetly wasn't. I was just saying that I hadn't had that yet with her, above and beyond my standard CSS issue with dryness and the depleted look that I dislike about the requirements for competition.
As an aside, if I had the money to set-up an FBB show, I would require caliper readings* of all the competitors to be taken and any who came in below 12% BF would be excluded.(* Yes, I know calipers are inaccurate, but, if the same set were wielded by the same person to assess each competitor, then they would all get equal treatment.

But I never "yayed" or "nayed" Ms. Turrell's looks. You're confusing me with The_Collector_2.
I wondered (publicly, which I probably shouldn't have) if The_Collector_2's assertion that Turrell wasn't attractive to him(?) anymore was A) because her face has radically changed because of her bulking up or B) because the lead images in this thread simply were not as flattering as previous ones he may seen (by nature of the location of the photography and her conditioning–not being "cut").
None of my business. As always, just "talkin'"… ;D
Again, no slight is intended towards Masschine's work here (these disclaimers are getting tedious), but it is a far different thing to be videotaped off-season in front of a yellowish wall that washes out one's skin tone, and photographed post-contest with a tan, a "sexy" hair color, and meticulously delineated, complementary eyebrows (4-5 years ago). You tell me:
Well, it'd be more cost-effective than having on-site hydrostatic weighing! (Although maybe not as photo-worthy!)
December 24, 2007 at 1:55 am #63936TC2ParticipantShe became more facially unattractive to me with her eyebrows and face, just isn't that hot. To me she looks like she became radically different in facial features when she got bigger, the photo that was just most recently posted is a nice photo. I'm not sure if it's her old photo or not but when she was slimmer she was definitely a lot hotter in my eyes compared to now.
December 24, 2007 at 2:47 am #63937cpbell0033944ParticipantOops, seems the effects of a bit of alcohol addled my brain. :-[ Sorry guys.
In relation to Mr Collector's concerns, I'm confused. Are you saying that the contest shape pic posted by Grandmaster depicts her as you liked her previously, or that it's an example of how you feel her attractiveness has diminished? For my money, it's my least favourite photo of her by a long way – extreme depletion, that teak-brown fake tan and an aggressive facial expression don't do her any favours, but that's because I dislike CSS situations. Offseason I think she's vastly hotter.December 27, 2007 at 3:52 am #63938The SaintParticipantMy take on it is that it's the overall shape that defines whether a woman is sexy, regardless of muscle mass. hips > shoulders, legs > torso is usually the winning ticket, no matter how massive she is in the details. Heather Policky (or is it Armbrust now? Not sure) is a good example. Then there's the whole, let's call it "man-face" effect. That's a whole 'nother issue…
December 27, 2007 at 7:45 am #63939TC2ParticipantNo there were much older pictures where she was much smaller and much more attractive. The competition are a foundation of where it was but not even close to how attractive I thought she was. But anyway, doesn't really matter anymore she just simply doesn't suit my tastes any longer.
I'd prefer the bigger Kris Murrell over Turrell anyday.

Fair dos – as I've said before, it would be such a dull world if we all had exactly the same tastes. 😉 8)
December 28, 2007 at 12:49 am #63941crazyfckParticipantcan I say that what bugs me in those photos is her… hair?
attractiveness is relative… we, above all, should know that. about the abuse… is her life, if she wants to blow up, its up to her. Of course I fear for her health, but then, I smoke too much, drink too hard, sleep too little, and I have my own illegal drugs. It's up to me to set the limits of my compulsion disorders, no one else
I find her body stunning, both before and after, but now she needs a better haircut
