ParticipantHa ha! I'd pay frightening amounts of money to have a 15' Jelena Abbou poster on my wall.
I thought I'd seen the photo somewhere before.
I'll hold off on scanning the mag for a bit, then, but if it's ok with you, Lingster, post a few scans hosted at imageshack?

ParticipantWell, for what it's worth, here's a bigger version of the cover pic from my crappy Dell printer/scanner.
It doesn't really do justice to the beauty of the cover, so GO OUT AND BUY IT IF YOU CAN FIND IT! Also, the pics on the inside are a complete disappointment considering how gorgeous she is normally, but the mags worth it for the cover alone!

ParticipantA new issue of Muscle & Fitness hers just hit the newsstands in California today.
The new cover is almost as good as Jelena's. Way to go M&F Hers!
Also, there is a cool letter to the editor where a woman explains how her daughter aspires to look like one of the models in M & F Hers rather than the anorexic hollywood starlets. Hopefully that kind of adittude becomes comen in the next generation:)

It would be a better world if it were to happen. 8)

ParticipantMy favourite kind of FMG stories are the ones where the whole world changes (like Marknew's AltUniv stories) and magazine covers for mainstream fashion magazines like Cosmo and Elle have muscular models like these on the cover lifting weights instead of the usual anorexic ones. I hope more magazines follow M&F's lead!

She was a lot less buff then than now – I'd love to see that ad recreated with her current physique. I know some may feel (and I understand the viewpoint perfectly) that this is backward objectification, but I think that female buffness has to be presented both in a cool, Gladiators-style way AND in a sexy way to become more accepted amongst the general population.

ParticipantQuick question here. Jelena's husband is named Marko. Would this be the same Marko Djedjevic who is now the artist of Marvel's upcoming Eternals?
