    Bablyon 5’s Jerry Doyle, who played Michael Garibaldi on the show, has sadly passed away at the age of 60

    Sad, sad news today. Actor and radio host Jerry Doyle, fondly remembered in these parts for playing chief of security Michael Garibaldi in Babylon 5, has passed away.

    Doyle played Chief Warrant Officer Garibaldi on the sci-fi show throughout its run, first appearing in 1993 TV movie Bablylon 5: The Gathering. His other small-screen appearances included guest spots in Homefront, Renegade, Sliders and NYPD Blue. It was as the host of a nationally syndicated radio show that he found an enthusiastic audience in recent years.

    His family made the announcement via his Facebook page, informing followers that the cause of his death was as yet unknown. A flood of tributes is steadily arriving there, many of them from fans praising his wit, thoughtfulness and kindness.

    He was such a great guy.

    He was a private jet pilot and a very successful stock broker before he become an actor.

    After B5 he become a conservative talk show host. He had a great show. He really could work Holly Wood facts & figures and the stock markets facts & figures into his show and show how out of touch they were with the average Americans citizens daily life facts and figures!!!
