ParticipantWhat a shame indeed. Jessica was The Woman on screen, but I guess that there is no much choises for women how they should look like if they want to get roles in big pictures. In some interview she mentioned that she can alter her body pretty quickly depending on what the role requires for. But this was couple of ears back, so I guess she ain't doing action roles anymore.
Can't really blame her: if I would have a chance to make million of dollars, I would go for it even if I would have to change my body to the direction what I might not like. Still she looks healthy and I guess there's nothing wrong with that. In my opinion, she is still stunning but…well, you know.

KeymasterAnd it’s a lot of work, and restrictions on your lifestyle, to maintain that degree of accentuated physique that she had in Blade Trinity.
I'm not really surprised that she shed it. Linda Hamilton did the same after T2 – she admitted it was nice to be ripped/built looking, but it required way too much of a 24/7 sacrifice to stay that way.

It was the same thing with Hillary Swank. She got really buff for "Million Dollar Baby" but shed it afterwards. She said its just too tough to maintain that physique. Plus, an actress has got to play parts that a muscular build just wouldn't work for.

That's the problem in a nutshell. Personally, if I were rich enough, I'd pay her to stay buff and create roles for her in that condition, in return for regular photos. 😛 ;D

ParticipantIt really is too bad that one of these actresses doesn't decide to stick with it, no matter the consequences. Sort of like Rebecca Armstrong… 🙂

ParticipantFortunately the muscle is always there once it has bin developed, it's just deflated in way from not being used. Jessica Biel and Hillary Swank could put the muscle back on in no time if they wanted to or needed to for a part. We can hope they do. *fingers crossed*
Besides (unless I'm mistaken) I think the photos on that web page are actually from a wile ago. Anybody know if they are?
