Yeah. As I said, they just ignored what you said so they could pretend they were the super-smart ones and condescend to you as though you were a n00b. :/

Guys I played college football and have been around roids and fbbs my entire adult life. Tre knows me. The few shows I went to I made great friends with some big name girls…and was asked by a couple to get in touch and work out with them. I had some great conversations with them and meeting with some. Not all are real personable. Just as in any subgroup of women.
Given that..I have seen them come and go too. Maybe we will leave it to you to coach the girls as to what drugs they should take and what the dosage should be for them to be “just right.”
I was going to say nothing as Tre did, but since you added on to a weak branch on the thread…I figured a response was in order. Nothing personal. I would advise maybe you coach Jessie. Both of you guys can. Most girls will take to you rather well . I never had a real issue with that. You fellas can clue them in on what is and is not the best look.
The contest end of the sport is dead anyhow. There is zero money in it. You are better off starting a webiste and staying off season unless you want to compete in a no money unhealthy sport (the dieting part is not healthy) for a trophy.
I would imagine at her age and with the physique mags gone…she will either try to make money in it or pursue some other field. Making money means using “gear” as Tre termed it. You giuys can help her out at what levels she is best using to look her best.
Yes, male hormones wear out female bodies and looks. The suns sets in the west too. The fbbs are going more and more to Canada now. Take a guess why? What drugs have the FBI been cracking down on. Would it be roids, HGH, and serostim? Hmm….not sure. Sandra Smith was nailed. Colette Nelson’s hubby, Mr Olympia top 5’s, Helle Nielsen (5 days in US), and many other fbb dealers. They are in jail or fear going. Makes drugs harder to get via your gym. Times have changed fellas. Get with it.
July 10, 2011 at 9:46 am #101887ant1937ParticipantAnd there is nothing smart about Tre or I. I can assure you. 🙂 It is just the truth. I get the point. You don’t want her to use like crazy and be gone in 5 years. Happens alot, but there are Annie R’s and Colette G’s around for years. Most have a short shelf life. It is not healthy long haul unless you know exactly what you are doing..and even then….has risks. People do have much different reactions to the same “gear”….much like they do with drugs.
July 10, 2011 at 7:01 pm #101898cpbell0033944ParticipantOK guys, I reacted a bit – apologies. Now, I’m a) disabled, and b) a Limey, so coaching isn’t possible. I’m not setting myself up as some kind of expert, but rather pointing out that I do know something about the subject. I’d wholeheartedly agree about the contest side of things not being worth it any more, especially given the unhealthy demands it imposes nowadays in terms of of the fetishisation of “dryness” in the competitors’ appearance. Sadly, whether we like it or not, the extreme physiques and side-effects of gear use is what drove TV and any semblance of mass-market support away from FBBing. As I see it, there’s a choice. EWither go back to the level of the late-1980s and take the TV coverage, sponsorship and increased revenues to boost prize money and profitability, or treat it as an underground thing that, due to it beng pretty “extreme”, is only going to draw a minority audience.

QFT.
Also, I need to find this girl, hit her with my club and carry her to my cave.
July 11, 2011 at 2:30 am #101907FettParticipantAnt, the problem isn’t a matter of ‘taste’ or anything like that.
The problem was that CPBell stated his opinion that she hoped she wouldn’t do too many drugs, then you and Tre mocked him for thinking she got big without drugs.
Your response is a lengthy discussion about how a woman can/should take drugs in regarding the sport, and so, you’ve missed the point again.
The point is: You both misread his earlier post, and then you both mocked him for a point of view (fbbs don’t take drugs) that he didn’t have.
But, CPBell seems to be fine with it, so ignore me, it’s over with.
July 11, 2011 at 3:34 am #101909ant1937ParticipantNo issues, guys. I never read CP’s post until later when Fett said that Tre and I had misread it. I never read it at all. I was replying to Tre’s post. I did use the word they and guys. I was not targeting CP since I had not read his post. I’ve just seen a ton of posts on various fbb forums where guys say they don’t want drug abuse, but they love size. I’m paraphrasing of course, but that is the gist. I wish it could be that way too. It can’t. Not even the men are super huge naturally.
Peace. We are all fine here. I’m with you. I’d like to see her get big, but you don’t want her to be one of those types that is around for one year and gone. She seems to enjoy it. That is the #1 good sign. If the passion is there, then that is a great start. In the US now….it is much tougher and riskier to get PE drugs than it was 15 years ago. If you add that in with the fact that fbbs on TV and in contests are basically gone…there was a following and it died….we have far fewer young girls like Jessie than we had 15 years ago. I used to get a good show just by going to by local GYM….3-4 excellent fbbs..at least her level. Now….nothing. I’m in the NY area and have checked Golds and World…used to be 7 or 8 between the 2….zero now. Some fitness types.
Fans have to hope the good ones do it right and stay in the sport. The ones that are in the sport now…are as extreme as ever. You guys see the deal there. The sport seems to be fine in Canada…considering they are not even 1 to 10 in population…lots of fbbs.
Peace. 🙂
July 11, 2011 at 5:13 am #101910cpbell0033944ParticipantOK, no problem Ant. B)
July 11, 2011 at 9:01 am #101913ant1937ParticipantNever had a problem with your comment per se. It was a generic comment to the few who have posted here thinking girls should not use “gear” but wanting size. That would be powerlifters…with lots of extra weight…and even some of those are not nautural. Some are….very big girls though.
Lets hope Jessie can live up to her name and maintain her nice feminine look too. I think we all would be happy with that.
July 11, 2011 at 9:17 am #101914ant1937ParticipantCP….one thing I do differ on with you being here in the states. Even if you go back to the 80’s look..late 80’s as you said….the TV and sponsors are NOT coming back. The biggest thing it had then was not just the women taking lesser drugs, but the fact it was a new thing for women to have muscles. It would have died out as it was…perhaps at a different pace. I can assure the sport was not killed by roids. Look at natural shows. Did you even see those sell at all? The answer is no.
Even the lightly drugged women would not sell on TV now. It was a novelty thing back then. Big girls were on talk shows and so on. It was new. Fbbs on TV ran their course. I wish that was not the case, but it is. roided out ones were on just as much as others. The steroid war in the united states was largely caused by Major League baseball. That is a sport people care great about. They do not care about bobybuilding at all. You won’t see Mr Olympia being called to congress is he cheated his way to the top..for his 100 grand. You will see a baseball player making 25 million a year and setting records called in.
That case greatly affected steroid policy and enforcement in the US. Later, after the famed Mitchell report….online pharmacies were shut down and top dealers were sent to jail one after another.
Look to Canada for your fbbs…might be as many there as in the US with 23 million vs 300 million. Bodybuilding as we knew it is dead. There is no bringing it back. Protein companies and all those supplement guys who sponsored contests detest the word bodybuilding now. The guys marketing the proucts are not often the top bodybuilders anymore. No Arnolds. That was a one time deal too.
Lou Ferrigno and Arnold were rewarded for being roid freaks. Millions each. Americans would not know any top male bodybuilder by face if he was standing next to them now. The perception of the sport is cheating and the look you get without cheating or lighter usage is not the freak show people want to pay for. I want freaky muscles on the women….not fitness types. There are tons of those. I would have zero interest in seeing women from the late 80’s re-appear. That is just my opinion. I get that. However, no chance of the sponsors or prize money ever coming back. That is not even factoring in the recession. I could give you more reasons, but that is plenty. I wish I was wrong about it, but those are the facts. I’m a sports freak and keep on top of this stuff.
The fbbs are better off pursuing strongwoman….which has more sponsors than fbbs, but also is very limited.
Best way for women to make money is the underground market and the internet sites. That won’t change soon in the US. I can’t speak as much to the other countries.
