I wish Jill would try to do this again. Trying to defeat three different men in armwrestling with your own right arm must not be easy. She got off to a great start, defeating the first guy easily. It looked like she was a bit out of sorts after that, perhaps she was losing interest or maybe she was injured, or just trying to be polite or ladyllike. She lost the second match after a titanic struggle in which she actually moved her arm back into a vertical position after being pushed backward. And she went down quietly in the third match. If she wants to improve on her technique and increase her might I would bet she could defeat these guys all by herself,

It’s not a matter of any issues on Jill’s side, what it boils down to is she’s very much out of her element and can only get so far with what she has at her disposal. She can try over and over again, the results are going to be the same. All the points on the chart don’t agree with her winning.

In addition to what everyone has pointed out I’ll put in my two cents.

Having a strongwoman/powerlifter armwrestle is somewhere within the range of having a long jumper run the 100m dash. Although both involve usage of the arms, the movements of both utilize completely different muscles. Powerlifting and strength sports use a broad range of arm motions and don’t put focus onto any single muscle. Armwrestling is solely focused on medial rotation which is dependent on the strength of the subscapularis muscle. As impressive as Jill’s biceps are, they actually have little to no function in an arm wrestling match. With Sam Tripoli it was a no brainer, he’s a comedian and nothing more, Jill just out muscled him in that scenario. But both Kit Cope and Jason Ellis practice mixed martial arts. In contrast to the systematic motions of weight training that Jill goes through, MMA training is more erratic with it’s motions and has a higher likelyhood of developing strength in the subscapularis. It’s not that both Kit and Jason are stronger than Jill, it’s just that they have more strength in the muscle needed for the job. Now if it were something like deadlifting, Jill could easily leave them in the dust.

I diid’nt mean to ruffle any feathers when I wrote that the other day. Listen, I’m a guy, not a lesbo or feminist or anything like that. The only idea I was trying to convey was that with a bit more work on her technique Jill could pull off a stunt like that.

No Pain No Gain is a 2004 movie about a bodybuilder who longs to be respected for his mind. Jill Mills plays a woman who doesn’t have a lot of patience

Can recall seeing her many moons ago on ESPN when she competed in the World’s Strongest Woman contest
    – and put many of the larger gals to shame in out performing them.

Side note, I wonder whatever became of Trash Boat or KissTheManiac.

Well at least with KisstheManiac he had a bit of a falling out with the community. In a now deleted post on DA, KtM described being angry at the community for essentially ignoring him. He was disgruntled that artists never offered to draw his characters and that no one really lavished praise on his work and that he was an unappreciated artist. He pretty much felt invisible, but it also seemed like he had some problems with depression and himself.

So he deactivated his account and disappeared. He is the first and only FM community member that has announced he was going to leave for good and actually held true to his word.
