Was just checking up on the Cartoon Network scheduling page . . .

And it seems that they've doled out another episode of JLU – "Far From Home" scheduled to air this coming Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 9:30PM Central in the USA.  😎

Thank god for DVR.  Granted, I like Miyazaki movies as much as anyone, but I was starting to jones for some Timmverse.

I'm glad its back, it's not the first time they canceled that show to cram more anime onto that network.  😡

How was this?  I missed it last night because I a) have a life and b) have my Vaio churning away on a poster-sized Poser render so I couldn't set it to record JLU.

Granted, item "b" sort of negates item "a", but the long and short of it is that I didn't get to see the episode.

Tivo'd the episode and just watched it.  It was the most intense Supergirl fighting episode ever!  She starts off in the Justice League version of the danger room and kicks butt through two simulations.  Then further in the story she takes on practically the entire Legion of Super-Heroes by herself.  I was in smackdown heaven!  Sorry you missed it Lingster.

Let's just hope that they quickly crank out the DVD sets since Cartoon Network seem to show Justice League Unlimited so infrequently that who knows if and when they'll ever show this episode again.

It was pretty good.  This is one of the episodes that makes me wish they were still doing the hour-long format.  I would've liked to get some more backstory on the Fatal Five and some more air time for the Legion of Super Heroes.  It would have been nice to get more interaction between Superman and Supergirl in this ep.  I really liked the closing line though, "So this boy that she is in love with… What's his name?"
