ParticipantI'm sorry, but I still don't see quite eye-to-eye with you here, Fett (will I ever? who knows).
There are MAJOR differences between having a fetish about a muscular woman than one for a child….
A woman that decides to build her body CHOSES to do so and goes through the physical and mental changes, while a child's mind isn't developed anywhere NEAR enough to cope with it… Nearly every single child that has been molested ends up molesting a child later on in life….more than likely, their own child….
It's one thing to have an urge, or get aroused by something….but the problem is that no one takes control anymore…. if we exercise control…we wouldn't have as much crime anywhere…. I know this is more of a dream than something that can be reality….but it's nice to dream sometimes….
"What's right for you might not be right for me (or vise versa)." Post-modernism shows that there are no REAL moral values and it makes me sick…. Yes, we do have rights…. but there IS a right and there IS a wrong….

ParticipantI disagree with that point of yours only because, when I told my girlfriend I liked female muscle she didn't consider it "sick". If I had told her I had a fascination with children then she would have dumped me right from the get go. Thankfully I am not…
Our brand of 'interest' doesn't even come close to the same category as child pornography or beastiality.
If you ask a random stranger "Which is worse?"
Child porn
or
Female body builders
You can bet that a huge percentage of them will vote for child porn.
Not to mention there's a lot of misconceptions with female body builders, everyone thinks they all look like men and never consider the fitness women or the smaller ones like Karen Zaremba or Melissa Dettweiller.
Maybe there's misconceptions about child porn as well, but it's pretty hard to have a misconception about getting aroused by little children.
I mean which is less disturbing of the two?
Pretend you have a little sister who is maybe about 20-25 years old who is a body builder and men fantasize about her.
or…
Pretend you have a little sister who is only 6 to 12 years old and men are fantisizing about her.
I really don't think our female muscle interests are even close to the same ball park.

ParticipantI see what Fett is trying to say here…
I mean in psychology 'informed consent' cannot be given untill the age of 16, so you have to consider whether a 'child' can actually give informed consent for such an act.
I mean for example I lost my virginity at 14, like that statistic, and I was consenting because I didn't have a fucking CLUE what I was getting into, and for the rest of my life I will regret it…
Though I do agree.. maybe lowering it to 14 means kids would be less scared to ask about it and there'd be less teen pregnancies and STIs and such..
I just don't think 12 is appropriate.. BUT I have totally NO tollerance for child molesters or animal rapists…June 1, 2006 at 4:50 am #30574Fett
ParticipantIt's one thing to have an urge, or get aroused by something….
This is exactly my point. It's one thing to get an urge, or become aroused by child pornography – but it's a completely different thing to rape a child.
The former is tragic, the latter is perverse.
If you ask a random stranger "Which is worse?"
Child porn
or
Female body builders
You can bet that a huge percentage of them will vote for child porn.I'd be astonished if it wasn 100%. But my point was exactly this – if you claim that because "a huge percentage" people claim child porn is worse than fbbs that makes child porn qualitavely worse, then surely, if I were to go on the street and ask "which is worse? Hollywood Hotties (for lack of a better description) or fbbs", "a huge percentage" of people would say fbbs are worse. Which would therefore mean being aroused by fbbs is somehow 'worse' than the hotties of Hollywood.
But that's not true. It's not 'worse' to fancy a muscular woman over a glamourous one.
So if the problem is not in what arouses you, then the problem must be in what you do to those who arouse you. In the case of children, you can't do any sexual act with them that isn't molestation. Therefore, the distinction becomes very slight indeed. But it's still there.
"What's right for you might not be right for me (or vise versa)." Post-modernism shows that there are no REAL moral values and it makes me sick…. Yes, we do have rights…. but there IS a right and there IS a wrong….
I totally agree. "A finer world is a small thing to ask for."
I mean for example I lost my virginity at 14, like that statistic, and I was consenting because I didn't have a fucking CLUE what I was getting into, and for the rest of my life I will regret it…
Though I do agree.. maybe lowering it to 14 means kids would be less scared to ask about it and there'd be less teen pregnancies and STIs and such..It's what the studies seem to think. Given my own, and most likely your own experiences too, it strikes me the studies may be right.
People are very repressed about sexuality, in general. Every fbb board I got to seems to have the "does anyone know about your fetish?" thread…

KeymasterA bunch of kids I went to school with – my age – lost their virginity at 11 or 12. This was mostly to each other, but the rumor was that one or two had been molested by adults previously. I didn't lose mine until years later and I was mostly unaware at the time my school friends were losing theirs – I knew something weird was going on, but not what.
It didn't do any of them any favors to start having sex at 12. It messed them all up. Two of them are wrecks, a third has AIDS, and I blame what happened back then.
If young teens take to having sex with each other, well, that's unfortunate but I don't know what can really be done about it. But if someone older takes to having sex with young teens? Shoot them in the head.

ParticipantFett, this is not homosexuality vs heterosexuality.
This is children who might not know any better possibly being pressured into having sex or doing sexual acts with an older man simply because it's an adult and adults are supposed to know better.
Kids are naive. This is playing off that. And it's disgusting.
June 3, 2006 at 6:24 pm #30577Fett
ParticipantAt what point did I say I disagree?
Precisely what you say is disgusting: coercing or forcing children into sexual acts is depraved.
But just thinking about or being turned on by it is a completely different matter to participating in it.
June 12, 2006 at 8:56 am #30578Lingster
KeymasterIt's true that people can't really control what turns on them or arouses them, and they may have those feelings for any number of reasons including post-trauma from when they were kids.
But it's also true that every person has urges or desires that can only be satisfied by violating the law or doing something immoral. Most of us control those urges. Once someone crosses the line and does what they know to be wrong, the blame is all on them.
June 12, 2006 at 5:56 pm #30579Fett
ParticipantYup. That's it exactly.

ParticipantThinking this over, I've come to a fearful conclusion. This may be a ploy to give some sort of weight to the anti-gay marriage retort of "then it'll allow for marrying children and animals".
I really wouldn't put it past them at this point.
