Hold on there, MGN… I'LL be leading the planet-wide ovation!
This has been a very enjoyable story; I've looked forward to every installment. I wish I had the money to pay JD to write for me full-time.
Jimmy, you have a wonderful knack for characters and characterization; even minor characters don't feel "stock" or stereotype. One of these days, I may just go ahead and illustrate this story as someone has already suggested.
One of the reasons I held off commenting until the end was that I wanted you to have your way and make your own story with the characters, instead of nit-picking about how "this isn't what I intended the characters to be like" etc. Part of the purpose, and the joy, of fan-fiction is to write the characters they way they aren't in their regular continuity. (As long as they're not changed too radically.) In other words, I didn't want you changing what you'd written.
In short; excellent job, Jimmy.
(Oh, and the ending: love the "Polymer City Chronicles" reference! I like the idea of Drs. Gannon and Bonn as colleagues…)

ParticipantI can't remember when the last time was that I have read such a great story.
There is just enough background information to wonderfully ground the story
and you get funny and charismatic characters accompanied by a very interesting action sequences
that captures the attention of the reader. Please let me join in this loud wave of applause.

Hehe, that part made me smirk in my "Ohhhh Snap!" expression…sounds like a plug for a nice, indirect sequel…
GO FOR IT, JIMMY!!!
Also! Excellent Work Jim-ster, Everything in this story was well written, and it's a refreshing and original piece to boot! Thanks a lot!
