And FBB fans vastly overestimate the number of FBB fans.

Look at the view counter on AMG. An updated page gets about 40,000 views a month. That's basically all the FBB fans in the world. Only 40,000. AMG lists 481 FBBs in their side bar. So assuming an even distribution of fans: 40,000 fans /481 FBBs = 83 fans per FBB on average.

Of those 83 fans how many would be willing to pay a subscription? Particularly considering there is so much free content on YouTube etc? Maybe 10%? That's 8 paying members per FBB. Not much of a living.

Of course – some FBBs will have more fans than average, and some fans may join multiple sites – but it sure aint no pot of gold. However, multi-model sites can do quite well since 100 FBBs x 8 fans = 800 members.

Also she would need to find a webmaster she can trust to  1.  update the site regularly and 2.  not steal her online identity and pocket all the money for himself.

I have heard both complaints from FBBs and  Fig/Fits  countless times. 

The few successful  (allegedly) single woman sites out there are  mostly sites such as  Johanna Dejager's  where the woman does the updating and web management herself. The others rarely make the women more money than doing shoots for the multi model sites but add a lot of hassles. 

Lingster has a lot of direct experience in developing and managing sites and if he says it is not worth it it ain't.

That math doesn't work because it assumes that people only visit 1 FBB page on AMG or something like that. If there's 481 FBBs on the site and those 40,000 fans each visited all 481 pages on AMG, then that's 40,000 fans per FBB.
In fact, an easier way to gauge how many fans each FBB has is to look at the hits, like you said initially. The page got 40,000 hits? That's possibly 40,000 fans for that FBB (distinct IPs and repeat visitors aside, of course).

Boy – I sure wish every FBB had 40,000 fans, then they'd all be millionaires and there'd be alot more beautiful FBBs and great websites for us fans to choose from!

40,000 is the number of hits an individual FBB sub-page gets after an update – before it disappears off the bottom of the updates list. So 40,000 is the total number of fans actively looking for new material. They're not necessarily fans of that particular FBB – they may not even recognise her name – they're just browsing. eg. I might look at Collette Guilmond's updated AMG page – but I'm not really a fan of hers.

I'm assuming each fan will have a favourite among the 481 FBBs listed – who's site they would be most likely to join. Therefore the average number of fans per FBB = 40,000 fans / 481 fbbs = 83 fans per fbb on average.

Another problem is that thrifty fans may only join a website once a year to raid all the content. So a girl needs to work very hard on her site to retain those members month after month.

But that merely assumes each visitor only has one favorite. I know I have more than one favorite that I visit at AMG.

Of course, there's a dozen other variables involved, too. Repeat visitors, unique IPs, all of that alters the "40,000 FBB fans" number.
And of course there's the number of people who'd pay for a pay site. Some people might be willing to subscribe to 10 pay sites, while other people wouldn't sign up for any. I personally would love to sign up for pay sites, but I physically can't afford it. I simply do not have the spare income to do so. If I did, I'd personally sign up for several.

I was merely pointing out that your "83 fans per FBB" number is pretty much unverifiable. Your math makes enough sense on the surface, but there's a whole lot of other factors it leaves out that would drastically alter that number in both directions.

I agree it's a very crude estimate. But it's consistent with what I hear about personal site memberships – and the fact that alot of sites are abandoned 🙁

The great Gina Davis site seems to have died. I've been ain a few and there just aren't that many members. Some of the sites like HD, femflex, and the others do offer multiple girls and more traffic. Plus the cost of running the site and doing the work to update it.

Lindsay would draw fans, but alot would not want to pay that price. This economy makes it even tougher.
