wow, theres people out there that liked to get defecated on, yet this is one of the top five freaky fetishes…
*facepalm*
Not a mention of "unbirthing," either. Now THAT is a weird fetish.
November 15, 2007 at 10:55 pm #63367ScottGParticipantApparently people (or this guy atleast) are more shocked that people actually like Muscular Women than Necrophilia (sex with dead bodies), Biastophilia (sex with unsuspecting strangers, aka rape), Coprophilia (Human feces), Emetophilia (arousal from Vomiting), Klismaphilia (arousal to Enemas), Paraphilic infantilism (adult babies), Urolagnia (Being urnated on), Zoophilia (attraction to animals). Sorry if anyone here fits into any of those categories, but those are the ones I find most disturbing. Now I suppose it is possible that the author was limited in how disturbing he could get with the listed fetishes, because not many people would want to read about the ones I listed, but while Muscular Women may not be the majorities favorite thing in the world, it is something they can read about.

Any other British members here will confirm that the Sun is a total waste of trees, famed for sensationalism, being the newspaper aimed at right-wing neanderthals, inventing the Page 3 girl and generally pandering to numbskulls who probably find the concept of a muscular woman scary and so therefore feel the need to deride them as much as possible. ::) >:(
Here's a ciao.co.uk review to reinforce my point:

Heh, I thought it was sort of funny. Every other fetish on his list had to do with either objects or actions. There was only one that dealt with an attraction real live flesh and blood human beings. Besides, I've dated an athletic girl with noticeable muscle in her arms and shoulders, etc, and my brother is currently dating a girl who is thinking about competing next year. We both agreed that you get more positive comments and vibe than negative.
December 28, 2007 at 5:41 am #63370The SaintParticipantI like how calling us freaks still didn't stop them use them using a picture of a female bodybuilder to help sell the article.
Unfortunately, labeling it doesn't really help understand it though. My theory is that all stuff like this is genetic, and you're pretty much born with it. Also, I'm convinced that there's a connection between a woman's desire to get big and muscular and a man's attraction to it. There's got to be a singular evolutionary reason that drives both behaviors.
Probably goes back to the caveman days.
Ug (to Squiika, his little woman): Hey! Me kill big hairy thing for dinner! You cook!
Squiika: Me can't lift hairy thing!
Ug: Ha! You useless! Me go get Grrrr-a, she big girl, better than you!Or something. I dunno.

Wonderful flawless lunacy, more like… ::) Actually, I wonder if that might be not so far from the real picture as you might think.
December 29, 2007 at 9:00 pm #63374randy guillotteParticipantBetter to be a sthenolagniast than a sthenolagniac. The former appreciates and controls their obsession while the latter allows their obsession to control their self.

All joking aside, I think that dynamic (or something very much like it) is exactly what's at work. How many people don't know the stereotypical scenario of the little kid who doesn't want to drag his little sister around with him for that reason, that she can't keep up? And what are kids but a reflection of adults' more primal selves? Men want women who can keep up with them — some of us want women we're challenged to keep up with. No big mystery involved.
