Gilbert Hernandez's new Love and Rockets/Luba spinoff is out today – a multi-part story about the insanely-busty Luba and her sisters. As Lingster has noted on his blog, Luba's sister Petra was introduced as a cute blonde with a normal, waspish figure. But Hernandez gave her a workout/gym addiction early on, which was explained as a way to "balance" her figure after a reduction surgery on her massive breasts (think HH cups) left her looking bottom-heavy. As the series has progressed, Petra's gotten bigger and more muscular. In the contemporary stories in this comic, she's bigger than ever – her biceps, flaunted in a series of tank tops, look to be 16'' around.

The contemporary stories feature Petra working out, goofing around, and getting ribbed by her daughter for her "super duper giant muscles." Then we have some flashback stories, intro'd by three panels that show the progression of Petra's figure – from slim teen to top-heavy bombshell to muscular kickboxer.

Gilberto's art is smooth and a bit cartoony, but this is highly recommended.

Y'know, it's funny-at a NY comic con, I got pin ups drawn by both Jaime & Gilbert Hernandez. I figured that the one by Jaime would be better as his art in the Love & Rockets books is more tight than Gilbert's. Turns out Gilbert's sketch was much better.

Which comics are the  contemporary stories  in may I ask?

Oh, I didn't explain that well. The comic has stories which take place in the current Luba storyline (contemporary) and it also has flashbacks.
